will try this tonight to rule out one more thing, if those last 2 dumps contained SPTD still i havnt had a blue screen since removing it, i hope like hell that was the cause this is getting annoying

Is it a normal thing for a computer to show signs up to 5 mins before its going to blue screen? things stop functioning propperly eg. rar files wont extract and installers give random errors then wham it happens. ive developed a bit of a sence for when its going to happen now and i can see it coming

I think SPTD was a contributing factor.

To answer your question, as you get to know you system, you can definitely recognize signs of instability. These signs are not always present though.

Ok, Started my computer this evening and 10moins in i got a bluescreen the error was "MEMORY_MANAGMENT". i uninstalled AVG and a few seconds later i got another blue screen, Both are attached.

On restart from the first bluescreen it asked to do a chkdsk, during witch it said it had recovered 4 unindexed files (not sure if this means anything).

I will now install MSE and see what happens

Have not run memory test yet btw

I got a feeling its going to bluescreen again, this is the most unstable it has been, seems to have only gotten worse. beginning to think its hardware. how do i figure out witch part is stuffed, most of its still under warranty

    Run this now

    Memtest - Instructions:

Download the ISO (or the .exe for USB drives) from here Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Then (if you have chosen the ISO) burn the ISO using IsoRecorder: ISO Recorder v3

Boot from the CD/USB and run the test (at least 7 passes per test) with only one stick of RAM in place at a time.

It is a time consuming process but it is the only way to be sure it isn't a RAM fault.

For your final test, run the test with all the RAM in place.

I restarted manually and now the game runs and MSE installed, would only have been a amatter of time before it bluescreened, i can now recognise signs of instability and ill tell you everything i can about whats happening incase someone out there sees the problem and has a solution

Run the memtest ASAP, it is more likely than not that you do have a hardware error. We just need to figure out what.

Just had a huge crash but no bluescreen so i was able to play around a bit, nearly all applications running at the time died except u torrent and task manager witch i was able to get to only by alt+ctrl+del, there was little to no cpu activity and i was only able to switch between windows with alt+tab as explorer had died, in hindsight i should have tried running new tasks through task manager and tried to recover the system one process at a time, if it happens again i will try to
