Brian, I am not a hardware guy. I have a lot to learn in that area. I have no idea what the reading should be for your hardware. Maybe one of the other guys who know hardware will see this.

Yes Revo is a very good tool and safe to use. I am glad you got rid of all security suites. I am sure down the road the makers of these suites will figure out how to make them work with Win 7. They will have to in order to stay in business. I have never cared for suites personally for a number of reasons and I sure don't like them now.

So you have gone a day without a BSOD? That is wonderful news! Maybe we are getting to the bottom of this. I had a gut feeling that Kaspersky was one of your problems all along - plus the large number of obsolete drivers.

Run your system a while and then make a system image backing everything up on another hard drive. Then add a program you want to use. Let it run a few days and then add another. But make sure the software you load is current and that it is certified for Win 7. You will save yourself a lot of grief and frustration.

Please keep us updated. I have my fingers crossed.

Original Warcraft 3 Chapter 6 won't load
I was playing the original Warcraft 3 until I get to the point I reached Chapter 6 of the story. Whenever I try to play Chapter 6 of the game, it's just a black screen that I see. It doesn't hang though 'cause I can still get back to the desktop and have the task manager close the program for me....
