    i think so carl we can close this down thanks for all your support i will pm you now and then if thats ok with you ? im a happy man now with the machine:) i have learnt loads to not just about computers but how friendship is a good thing and that there are some real decent folk on the internet which definitely includes you in this category along with jk and richc46 a very big thank you:) 80% sure it was bios

    Brian, it was a pleasure working with you. You are really good at following suggestions, trying thing on your own, and updating us on what you have tried and done.
