    nvlddmkm.sys error with 1 BSOD

So I just recently built my computer. Last weekend.

My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

    My specs are:
AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE
    MSI 980a motherboard
    eVGA Geforce 9800gtx+
    A-Data Gaming 4gb of ram
    OCZ ModxStream PSU 600W

After building my computer I get flickers in the monitor and suddenly it blacking out and freezing till this error pops up. "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.". I'm thinking that it could be the video card and OS not being compatible.

Need some help on this issue because it is quite annoying when I'm trying to watch videos and play games. Especially when I'm watching videos T.T...

Well it is definitely a graphics card issue. More then likely the driver. Make sure you are running the most up to date driver and the correct driver for that card. Perform a clean uninstall and remove all files pertaining to the driver by using a program such as driver sweeper before reinstalling the drivers. On a side note.. make sure you reinstall DirectX.

    Code:
    dxgkrnl.sys	dxgkrnl.sys+5cef8	fffff880`10a8a000	fffff880`10b7e000	0x000f4000	0x4ac5509e

    dxgmms1.sys	dxgmms1.sys+ff07	fffff880`10b7e000	fffff880`10bc4000	0x00046000	0x4a5bc578

nvlddmkm.sys	nvlddmkm.sys+112f9c	fffff880`0fe1a000	fffff880`10a87c80	0x00c6dc80	0x4c0d6fd7 (The system CPU could not re-interpret what the GPU had said. Normally a driver issue.)

    Agreed. This a graphics error.
It has a 0x116 STOP CODE. Have a look at this thread on 0x116 Troubleshooting: https://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...tml#post565834

How do I use driver sweeper, I just downloaded the Guru3D. I'm pretty new to computer building and handling. So if it seems that I'm asking a lot of question its so I don't mess up and learn more about computers.

My driver is at it's latest. I'm asking how do I uninstall my drivers and then clean it up with Driver Sweeper. After that do I download the latest driver and install?

Download driver sweeper from here: Guru3D - Driver Sweeper (Setup) download from Guru3D.com

It appears pretty self explanatory if you want to get rid of NVidia graphics drivers.

Download the relevant NVidia driver (but do not install) before running driver sweeper, so you can immediately install the new driver.

Also, boot into SAFE MODE before you run Driver Sweeper, so that the NVidia graphics drivers are not loaded.

So Basically, I would just restart my computer into safe mode. What is the command to do so. Which box on the Driver Sweeper should I tick? Do I press analyze or clean?

    From their site:
Analyse lists all the entries possible to remove, cleaning removes the entries selected.

Okay thanks. But for running safe mode. I only see that screen when I hold the power switch to turn off my computer and then turn it back on. Is that the only way to reach that page when booting?
