To be honest with you i never seen Windows Memory Diagnostic finding problem. If you have a Hardcore problem maybe then it might pick it up. I always trust MemTest86+. Maybe the BIOS Update took care of the problem. Maybe it had some issues with timimng in RAM whic got fixed by updating the BIOS.
Norton or Bitdefender is bad idea. Go for Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast.

Puffins, please upload the mini dump. If fact, read the link below and follow those instructions. Since you reinstalled Windows, I have to believe you have a hardware/hardware related problem.

Please upload that dmp file, found in C:\Windows to Rapidshare.com.
Right-click on it, and send to>new compressed folder, and then upload that file.
first the (0x...c0000005) is a memory exception, so I still expect memory is the problem.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.
Ok, well I called OCZ about the beginning of this week...lol guess what they said and memtest did not pick up this problem...just Windows Diagnostic. FACE PALM! I have a Dual Channel Motherboard with Triple Channel Ram. So I am ordering some dual off New Egg.
I am now selling the 3 sticks that I had before on Craigslist.....sux so bad.....
