BSOD problem and Program crashes. Please help.

    Hi everyone.

My Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) crashes about once per 2 days.

Recently the Skype 5.0 (beta) application stopped working frequently during the calls.

Yesterday the Yahoo Messenger 10.0 also stopped during the call as well.

I don't have any ideas whether these problems related to each others.

    Other information.
    - The OS is a an upgrade version I bought separately. I installed it 2 months ago.
    - The system I bought 2 years ago, built-to-order.

I have uploaded the following files as your guide.
    - the BOSD dump (Windows7_BSOD_jcgriff2 folder)
    - the System Health Report (perfmon /report)
    Attachment 86165

Your helps are very much appreciated.

There was a render command given to the Nvidia video driver by DirectX, and the Nvidia driver called KeBugCheckEx to crash the box.

I'm not sure if there are newer nvidia drivers than this:
    Code:
    1: kd> lmvm nvlddmkm
    start end module name
    91c2b000 92732fc0 nvlddmkm T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys
        Image name: nvlddmkm.sys
        Timestamp: Sat Apr 03 20:37:04 2010 (4BB7DF30)
        CheckSum: 00B0A9B4
        ImageSize: 00B07FC0
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
If an updated driver doesn't help, and if you have the ability to do so, try another video card, as it might possibly be a hardware issue.

Sometimes with Nvidia, the latest driver is not always the best, I had to experiment with drivers before I got my card working properly. I ended up using the third one down the list rather than the latest.

    Thanks cluberti, CarlTR6.

I will try an older version of Nvidia driver.
