What happens when you try to boot from USB?

    When do the bluescreens occur?

Have you tried manually booting from USB using the popup boot menu (usually F11 or F12 during POST).

What USB device are you trying to boot from?

    Try updating the BIOS.

Also, test another USB device to boot from, just to completely eliminate that possibility.

I'm honestly not sure, as I can't find the BIOS on the HP support page. You gotta love HP/Compaq's excellent support for their products.

Go ahead and try another USB device in the tablet.
