I've not yet been able to solve this problem, and the new driver unfortunately didn't help. What I have noticed though, is that, by unplugging the network cable from the actual machine, and running directly off of wireless, I don't have any problems whatsoever. It's a strange work around, but for the time being, until I can find out exactly what the problem is, this may be a temporary solution.

Yes, it does sound as if either the card or drivers are faulty. I recommend sending it back to Dell for repair.

Mathmission - I see that you are running 7 Enterprise meaning that you are probably running this on a corporate laptop. By chance are you running an Cisco products on the laptop like Cisco VPN or Cisco SSC? Try the latest Intel driver (11.6.92.0) with the the Cisco products removed and see if you get the crash. I'm doing some testing for our company and testing the same scenerio and looking to see if you or anyone else on this thread is seeing the same thing.

BSOD here also...

I have an E6410 that crashes most of the time when viewing video / youtube, things like that. E1K6232.sys are the Intel Ethernet drivers which I've tried every version out there I could find. These drivers are faulty and I can't send back 20 E6410 laptops! I really hope there is a resolution or new driver /patch for this problem. I would imagine more and more people will pop up with this problem. Help!

So we worked with Microsoft, Intel and Cisco to try to resolve our issue and finally when Intel got down to working the issue, they determined that it was a fault of thier driver. We helped them test a beta version of the driver and that resolved the issue for us. We're waiting for Intel to push the driver through WHQL vertification and until then we've rolled back to the 11.5.10.0 version of the driver which also resolves the issue. Intel stated that they put out 11.6.92 to address an issue that one company was seeing, but that broke something else appearently. Anyway, I'd go back to 11.5.10 until the next version comes out.

Ok, I had the same problem with Dell 6410.. also new machine. 3 weeks in use maybe.

But I did not have that before today. And I saw someone mentioning Cisco products. I just installed Cisco VPN client today. As it turns out after I uninstalled Cisco VPN client the problem was gone.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I registered here just to say THANKS EVERYONE for all the help here. I was pulling my hair out over this very problem.

I experienced this problem on a Dell Latitude E6510-- crashing on streaming video. I found the fix above worked for me. I did not have Cisco VPN installed, but there were other Cisco products that I removed. After removing the Cisco products the crashes continued (albeit, apparently not quite as often).

I rolled back the driver for the intel network card to 11.5.10 as suggested, and the problem apparently is solved. I've been streaming multiple 1080p videos (which used to cause crashes pretty quickly) for the past hour and a half and no crashes.

The old driver is pretty easy to find from google (I got mine from an HP support site).

So, sorry for bumping this, but I really wish this thread had been higher ranked in google because it led me directly to the answer after hours of searching. My post of thanks is also to help stuff some keywords to try to bump this up in google rankings for other people having this problem.

THANKS!
Chris
