    The Windows Firewall is good.

    Remove all anti-virus programs and firewalls you might have except for Microsoft Security Essentials. We can't really go on until that gets cleared up.

    Hello all sorry it`s been a few days life got in the way!!
    Anyhoo i have got rid off avira and put that windows AV on i havent had a BSOD since the 1st night

I'm new here but I've noticed there are a lot of ppl with knowledge about Windows 7 that I have not. Hopefully there is someone able to help me with this blue screens I'm getting at the start up of my Windows 7 system. It only happens at 10% to 20% of the start ups, but I don't think its very good....
