Won't boot

Have a a good one have had this computer for a while with windows 7x64 ultimate on it been working great till now. Now it's stuck on verify Dmi pool data everytime. Tried windows repair and it tell me tha windows can't repair automatically so I checked the detailed report and it say that boot manager is missing. What are some other ways of replacing bootmgr? Anything would be great I really need my pc back up and running.

Verifying DMI pool data is a BIOS problem. You may need to update the BIOS. Be careful when doing that. the boot manager can be replaced but isnt your problem.

Do you have a backup? a restore point? A win 7 DVD?

I would try clearing your CMOS before doing a BIOS update. If you provide your machine's make and model we could probably tell you if the motherboard has a jumper to clear the CMOS. If not, you could always pull the battery for a few minutes to do it.

i did clear my cmos a few time still come to verify dmi pool data. i kinda fixed the problem but im still trying to figure out why it did it. i have a spare hd and i decided to install windows 7 on it and see if i could see there other windows installation on the other hd i could i just look at it that was it. then i restarted and it came to a screen that asked me which windows installation would i like to run so i clicked on the one that i tried to repair that is what it was called kinda funny i really didnt think it would start up but sure as hell did its running fine right now. but im going to unhook the other hd that i just installed windows on and see what happens i will let you know.
