Windows 7 Proffesional XP Mode generate blue screen

    Hi,
I have a HP Touchsmart 600 that had windows 7 home edition preinstalled. I upgraded using the windows anytime upgrade tool to windows 7 proffesional in order to take advantage of XP mode.
I followed the 3 steps described in
    Download Windows XP Mode
I downloaded and installed the windows xp mode with no problems.
I then downloaded the windows virtual pc. The machine reboots after installing it and the update was applied. After that, when rebooting the machine, even without installing the windows xp mode update (step 3) the blue screen appears. I have to use the recovery method to unapply the last modification, wich is "windows virtual pc".
Then all comes back to normal. The dump file generated is attached.
    Thanks in advance,
    Simon.

Simon these were both caused by your atheros wifi driver. That driver is way too old for starters, and it also does not react well to NORTON (SYMANTEC) PRODUCTS. So I would remove norton if installed. Download a newer copy of the driver and install it and update all the old drivers listed below.

Ken, thanks a lot. I updated the driver and I could install and run the XP mode.
