    freezing / failed startups

for those who help i very much appreciate it.

my computer has started freezing regularly. like every 0-45 min regular. becomes non responsive untill i turn off my computer (i know this is bad but i have no choice. i left it on for a full 18 hours and no difference)

i also have problems with getting the computer to turn on at all. system seems to freeze at the bios start up screen.. will also stay non responsive for hours untill turned off. and its a battle of turning off the computer and back on. (have to do that many many times) in this time i cant get it to start off any recovery disk or the windows disk itself. does nothing.

in the off chance i got on. i tried to reinstall windows (and even repair). and i thought it had helped. untill it happend again. so no change.

i got into my event viewer and i made a copy which i will attach here to help those who know how to read it and whatever help me with my problem.

(p.s. i tried uploading it in evtx to make it simple to view. but site wouldnt allow the file type)

if you need the evtx to help let me know and i'll upload it somewhere else and send the link.

i have a self built system that i've been very happy with. specs include
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    AMD Athlon II X2 240
    3.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 266MHz (4-4-4-12)
    ASRock K10N78M (CPUSocket)
ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series (Sapphire)
313GB Western Digital WDC WD3200AAJS-56B4A0 ATA Device (IDE)
Optiarc DVD RW AD-7240S ATA Device

    thanks in advance.

You have hundreds of the following.
"The Computer Browser service depends on the Server service which failed to start because of the following error:
The dependency service or group failed to start."

You can try goinig into services (type services.msc in search) go to the browser service and start it. That will likely fail.

    If it does
Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
    SFC /SCANNOW

Let us know the results from the report at the end.

Ran Computer browser in services. it ran fine.

as for the command prompt it said "windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations"

quick note. i got a quick look at the even log right after a crash. without having to fight the computer to turn on.

source: cdrom event id: 15. group: (none)
source: event log event id: 1101 group: event prcessi...

couldnt save them i'm afraid. the system froze again as i was in the process.

i believe i've determined it to be a hardware problem. after wiping the hardware with dban reinstalling and same effect. anyone know what hardware would cause this? or perhaps any other sugestions?
