Direct TV and Dish

Does anyone record videos using this Dish service?

We've recorded many videos and I really like this feature! I know it costs a bit more, but not as much as buying several DVDs. We actually play the videos many times.

I'm not in any way promoting this feature... just asking a question

I bought a Panasonic DVR several years ago with a 160gb HD to replace an old VCR.

Works rather nicely with my cable TV programs.

We can't get cable here, but it sure is a good way to entertain guests (young and old) until you can actually do the real entertaining ... meals, music, strip poker/dancing, whatever
