    Our fellow geek Kari

Our fellow geek and my best pal Kari is in the hospital due to his disease. He was supposed to be discharged today but I don't think he's been discharged. Please pray for his speedy recovery.

That disease can be nasty to have and to treat.
Prayers and thoughts go out to Kari from THW.

Thanks for the update Dinesh. Kari is really missed around here!

For those who would like to know more, Meniere's Disease affects the 'little tiny hairs' of the inner ear, the ones that give us the sense of balance. There is no cure and treatment targets the symptoms, which can be a loss of balance causing falls, and the sick feeling some experience on "Roller Coaster Rides" / Astronauts weightless in space (sometimes resulting in vomiting). A friend of mine told me a mild wind gust can push him over, and he can no longer drive his car for any distance safely. It is quite disabling.
