This is the 70th anniversary of The Battle of Britain.
It seems a betting man would not have given Britain a very good chance at all, we looked certain to loose.
Archives now released reveal that in the morning Churchill spoke to his war cabinet and said "In three months we will all be dead"
Later that day he went into the House of Commons and gave his famous "This was their finest hour" speech.
That's politics.
