    Carl,
    This is terrific news.
She will even do better once she gets home and into her own environment.

    This is a great update.

Mae Lyne is now in her own room. She only has a pic line and oxygen; all tubes are gone including the chest drain hose. The pneumonia is diminishing. And she had her first shower tonight! She is hurting and tired from the shower; but she said it surely felt good. But the best news is that the oncologist came in today. All the cancer is gone and there will not be any chemo or radiation follow up treatments. Praise God; that is definitely an answered prayer. She will have follow ups with the oncologist however. Her surgeon want her up and walking the halls.

Her cancer was a non-small cell cancer, adenocarcinoma. This cancer is the most common form of lung cancer. She is blessed in two way, the cancer was found very early and it was not small cell cancer. Thus the prognosis is very good.

She will remain in the hospital until they are sure the pneumonia is under control and well on its way out. She is very upbeat, positive and rejoicing at the outcome. Recovery time will eight weeks; she cannot drive for three weeks. I guess that means she can’t ride her motorcycle either.

We both thank you all for your prayers, well wishes and support. There are no words to express how much this support helps.

Thank you all for your support and prayers and God bless. Hopefully, in a few days, I will be able to get back to the forums on a regular basis.
    Fantastic news!!!!!
