Nice acheivements
I've been trying to get the "Skilled" achievement for quite some time now. The problem and first, before reading this, was that I thought I need to get 100 posts to get it. Well, after reading this I need 100 Rep Points? So after helping people out with problems today I realized that I still had the 10 Rep points I had to begin with. I guess what I trying to say is that why isin't people repping me after helping out with thier problem? (I'm not doing it for the rep I'm doing it to help other people with thier problem as I know that they will do the same)
Zekramcross,
You can start by having a little patience...We all have helped numerous members and sometimes we get a Thank You, sometimes we get rep'd, and sometimes we get nothing but the self satisfaction that we helped someone with their problem.
We helped you yesterday and I didn't see a thank you from you. Which is all we want....
Your next badge will come in due time and probably when you least expect it.
Yea, your right I forgotten the most important rule when someone help me out and that was thanking them..
man... I got all caught up in getting an achievement that I forgot the simple things thats make a lot of people happy for helping someone out. When I said that post I wasn't angry, inpatient, or anxious. I would like to apologize to everyone that has help me out and not hearing a single 'thanks' from me that was wrong and I know since i'm an IT student. HowlingWolves I will never forget those words that you've told me from now on I will always say thanks to someone that helped me out. See sometimes I forget things and its not even on purpose and lose sight of things rather quickly. I would like to say a big Thank you for HowlingWolves and everybody else that has helped me out in the forums. I am also sorry if I was ever a nuisance to anybody also.
Zekramcross,
Not a problem!
We've all been there and done that. 7Forum is a unique forum where people really care and want to help others along.
You are off on the right foot by being honest and admitting your wrong doing. That's a big step in the right direction.
Have a great evening and a super week-end. Before long you will have the skilled badge and wear it proudly.
THW
I must have got my latest one with in the last few weeks and have never asked for anything. Thanks folks for the reps but really it is just not about helping people. It's also about been with family helping family. GL folks and thank you for the reps to date. GL :)
On my personal note,
I am training to become a Computer Support Specialist, and so many other things that involve support is just because I enjoy helping people. I was never aiming to get any type of badge(not complaining XD), but I am happy that I did because it shows me that I have helped people and they are thankful for it.
Plus it is another benefit of learning so much right now, and there is still tons more to learn.
