Sounds tasty ted , however in ole blighty(UK) it would be spelt crappy and mean something else as would a nappy (diaper)

Nappy (singular)

Nappies (plural) den !

so crappies are off my menu.

Here, too. Except we call them specs in my neck of the woods, short for speckled perch.
