Doesn't make sense to me either, I mean, as shown in that article, market share is 90% PC users, 5-6% Mac users (I know I know, Mac's are PC's too)...anyway, I somehow can't believe that from 90% of PC users, you can't find at least 5% that should have same characteristics as Mac users. It sounds more like advertising to me. Correction: It is advertising.

I can settle this dispute.

PC = personal computer. Therefor, a Mac is a PC, and thus no argument

Also, that article is complete bullsh*t. I should be a Mac user according to it (not happening).

So far, I am mostly liking Windows 7. I haven't had any real issues with it, but also haven't had time to really use it and get to know it.

The one thing I miss more than anything else, iLife. I wish that either Apple made iLife for Windows, or there was an alternative that did the same thing. If there is I haven't found it yet. I have been able to find individual apps that do the same things, but it was nice to get everything in one package.

The whole Windows vs Mac thing is so old hat as to be laughable. It really doesn't matter anymore, and I'm not even sure it mattered then. Use what works for you and you like. If your able to get the work and/or enjoyment done,... that's all that matters.

Secondly, I agree with most of what you say.
It really doesn't matter at all anymore.
I suppose I'm not that qualified to talk about Macs because I've only had very limited exposure to them and their OS.
From what I've seen I'd love one. They are beautiful to look at, some would say (sneeringly) a "boutique" product at a "boutique" price.
So what?
If I could afford one I'd get one, especially as I could run windows 7 on it.
As it is I've built myself what I consider to be a very stylish looking pc. It wouldn't suit everybody but hey!
At present I'm triple booting Vistax64, W7x64 and Linux Mint (I'm going to take Vista off imminently)
I also have a first class monitor and I consider that to be the most important component of the lot.
I suppose you could make the "bang for buck" argument and MS pcs would win.
Also you could say that Apples corporate strategy is somewhat sinister but so is Microsoft's (I'm some kind of commie)
So back to the beginning. I would love a 27" iMac but I'm very happy with what I've got.
The argument is really redundant now that you can run Windows on a Mac.
Also, if you go top end PC you will spend a fortune so that's not an issue for me either.

Right clicking is so, like, yesterday. It's not old enough to be retro chic. It's just gauche, aesthetically and conceptually offending.

It affects my artistic creativity while using my unique and aesthetically trendy Mac - just like every other unique artistic individual with their non-conformist Mac.
