The other day I had just pulled into a grocery store parking lot and was looking for a parking space. Almost all of them were full. I spot two spaces next to each other. I drive over that way and another car is heading for the spaces also. No problem, two cars and two spaces. The other car beats me there and pulls into one space. I start to go into the other space and see that it says "Handicap Only". I start to drive away and I see that the car which took the other space has a "Handicap Sticker" on it. The Handicap car parked in my regular space, but I can't park in the handicap space. Does that seem right???? I just had to get that off of my chest.
My wife has a handicap sticker and I would have done the same thing.
Genuine handicapped people find it difficult to walk for any distance but there are far few places for them to park to access the shops
If I find a normal park close to the shops I park there and leave the handicapped spot vacant, this way it creates another spot for a handicapped person

i once parked in a disabled space, and was spotted by a traffic warden.

he asked me what my disability was so i told him "tourettes, now please go away."

I park in mother and child spots. They're wider than regular ones so you're less likely to get your doors dinged.
If anyone asks where my kid is I look horrified and say "S**t, I must have left him in B&Q, thanks buddy" and drive off looking grim and determined.
