    A Little Rant

The other day I had just pulled into a grocery store parking lot and was looking for a parking space. Almost all of them were full. I spot two spaces next to each other. I drive over that way and another car is heading for the spaces also. No problem, two cars and two spaces. The other car beats me there and pulls into one space. I start to go into the other space and see that it says "Handicap Only". I start to drive away and I see that the car which took the other space has a "Handicap Sticker" on it. The Handicap car parked in my regular space, but I can't park in the handicap space. Does that seem right???? I just had to get that off of my chest.

Do you know if the person driving or a passenger was handicapped?
When my father-in-law lived with us I had a handicap sticker but only used it when he was with us. I would not use it when I was alone since I did not need it.

    Hi there

Save Gas -- try WALKING or CYCLING.
You can carry a decent amount of groceries on a Bicycle --believe me I do it nearly every week.

I'm AMAZED when stores are open 7 days a week how much stuff people buy in these places and then around 40% of the food gets THROWN AWAY. -- That's my Much Bigger Rant.

Honestly its because people in the USA want cheap Gas for their cars is why we get into problems with BP etc and oil spills. All the exploration etc is driven by the USA's INSATIABLE demand for Cheap GAS.

    Cheers

I'm essentially from Los Angeles so that would warrant the bird from me to that individual along with a few curse words. But again, being from LA, we're all used to that so it's nothing new.

I'm not advocating this type of behavior nor am I saying it is right but unfortunately, that's the way the cookie crumbles with all the terrible traffic out here.

My little rant for the morning (this could turn into an awesome thread):

I hate it when people go 5-10 miles per hour under the posted speed limit. Does that make me an impatient person? Probably.. I am American. But when it causes 15 cars to line up behind you in a no pass zone because you are going 43 instead of the posted 50, that's a problem.

Now, I understand that probably just means there were 14 other impatient people like myself, but still.

Please, if the posted speed limit is 50, at least go 51 or something :)

That feeling/trait is not exclusive to Americans. It frustrates me no end as well.

That's 100% natural. I hate it when this happens and unfortunately, it seems to happen too often around here with so many people on the road who just shouldn't be.

I'd just park at the fringe of the parking lot myself. There's less competition. You get more exercise. Let the fat people have the close spots.

I park in mother and child spots. They're wider than regular ones so you're less likely to get your doors dinged.
If anyone asks where my kid is I look horrified and say "S**t, I must have left him in B&Q, thanks buddy" and drive off looking grim and determined.
