The Case of the Missing Pillow Case

Today appeared to be a normal day just like any other. I had decided that I should strip the beds and wash the sheets from them since it had been a while and they were starting to smell a bit. The washer is just a normal top load washer. In this washer I loaded all of my sheets including a total of 3 top sheets, 3 bottom sheets, and 5 pillow cases. All of which were accounted for. After the washing has been completed, in the dryer they went. Still all accounted for.

Next, a loud beep as the drying has finished. Oh joy, I can now make the beds again.

The first bed was made without issue. The second bed was made without issue as well. I had naturally assumed that the third bed would be the same, except........

Oh my no. My bed was missing a pillow case. Round and round I went searching the house, the dryer, the washer, everywhere....but not a pillow case in sight.

I scratch my head as the pillow case has seemed to of vanished into thin air without a trace.

I now sit sad wondering when my pillow case will decide to return to me from what must be some vortex it had got sucked into.

The morral of this story is treat your pillow case well and enjoy your fond memories of it, for you never know when your pillow case may vanish on you as well.

Yep, I checked and looked everywhere. It has just completely vanished somehow. Spooky.

I say this with all due respect. Perhaps you need to monogram all of your belongings with MSMVP... then you will always have the answer (just as you always have the answer for people like me!)
