Amusing occurrence at work today. I work with people with schizophrenia and on Tuesdays I take a group of them to the public library and show them the basics of looking stuff up etc., on the internet.
Today I was helping a guy who loves hot chili sauce find a supplier of his favourite sauce.
He found the website and there was a video on it so he borrowed a set of 'phones and watched this vid of a guy talking about their various sauces, all of which had silly names.
Halfway through he turned to me, still wearing the headphones, and shouted:
"I must have some of Satan's Blood"

About 40 people turned from their monitors to look at him.
johnwillyums, if you haven't seen The Dream Team ya gotta see it. I think you'll really enjoy it, and will definitely relate!!! (You can watch it on-line here: [removed by admin])

Just to say that the courier (DPD) came this morning and picked up my tower and it will in the PC World's lab this evening. I will ring them on Monday to find out how far it has got.

At least things are moving forward now.

I have just been looking at this new cell phone (I do need a new one): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Today, we brought my dad home from rehab. He is doing very well. He is at about 85% of where he was he took his fall. He can walk without his walker; but we are making him use it for balance - just in case. It is great to have him back home. :)
