Black Friday back there, on the "wrong side of the pond" . A happy, white and yellow and sparkling red Friday here; I'm already walking, although only short distances and very, very slowly. Months of slowly clicking on-screen display with trackball button are over, using normal keyboards and mouse. And speech: what a fabulous feeling when I can already talk so that people can (almost) understand me, although left side of my mouth is still useless, hanging a foot or two lower than the rest of the mouth ...

Weekend ahead, no physiotherapy or speech lessons, just relaxing. Home bar fully stocked, a giant piece of reindeer sirloin waiting to be grilled. Angie more beautiful than ever before.

I'm happy and very much in love.

    Kari,
That is fantastic news about the things you are doing!
If I were there I would give you a big wolf hug.
That goes double for your care provider Angie. Tell Angie to lock the bar until the left side of your mouth gets better. Don't want to waste the good booze running down your face.
Have a wonderful week-end my friend.

Thanks Dennis. By the way, have you noticed those photos of you taken to that "Bad Geek Dennis" calendar you are giving to your wife this Christmas are now circulating the web? I just found this, you as Mr. December: Dennis as Mr. December

Do you think the SF graphics team could make a 2011 SF geeks calendar ?

It would go nicely along side the 2011 Hooters' calendar

Seeing you dressed as Mr. December made me very, very afraid of seeing how you are dressed as Mr. June...

    continued good news kari, excellent.
Today we have snow lying in cornwall, its a bit crispy and icy so not good for the kids with snowballs and snowmen .And likley to melt soon unless we get some more fast.snow is a novelty here in cornwall and we have only seen snow on about four occasions in ten years (roughly!)
