Your other coffee fans out there, how much coffee you need let's say in a week? In our two adult household, we consume about 1 kilo (about 2.2 pounds) a week, dark roasted Italian espresso. Angie drinks 3 cups a day, a cappuccino in the morning and two espressos later, I'll take care of the rest.

We ground the beans ourselves. For reasons unknown to me me we need about 1.1 kilo coffee beans to get that 1 kilo grounded coffee; I can not understand where that 100 grams disappear when grounding...

2-3 cups per day for me, Kari. So I don't go through all that much, I guess.

lol no coffee for me. Makes me anxious...

the other 100 grams ends up in the gears of the grinder. Start weighing the grinder and you will see the weight change (im just kidding... maybe)

Dennis, I knew it's you! BE careful, I've sent a private eye to watch you...

BTW, this private eye sent me some photos he'd taken when following you. You really are an ugly old geek! I can not post those surveillance photos of you here, kids could see them, but I can give you an example: backside of one photo, taken when you were visiting that farm near you, my private eye had written an explanation: Here's Dennis with his neighbors old bull (Dennis on the left).

Thanks, dear fellow geeks. I'm already quite "fast" walking between parallel bars. Going to be eveb faster when also my left arm can do its and support me, now it's only the right one.

A bit confusing thought this, now at 51 from bedridden to chair to walker to cane to no help, just in time for my age kicking in and forcing me to "go back" the same route, from no help to cane to walker to chair to bed.
Kari, I am really happy to hear your progress. Just keep at it. You can and will do it. It is so nice having you back with us.

Today, got a call from the company i work for. I have been waiting for a new contract to start in December and basically am out of work till then.
The call was a nice surprise as they wanted my services as a contract Quarry Manager at a mine site for a few weeks. This will fill the void till i go to the new contract in the Tanami desert around the 9th of next month.
About time we got some good news.
Congratulations. Money does come in handy now and then. :)

I drink four cups per day, Mae Lyne drinks one to cups, and my dad drinks one cup. We drink Cajun coffee - coffee and chicory with half and half.
