Dennis .. Yes your right about the returns.. I try to never get in that situation.

I thought the above item would serve me a lot better than my cell phone , I so rarely use .
I can get service for the Tablet at the same cost to me as my cell phone plan.
The Tablet .. has a browser.. e-mail ..tons of applications.. and more.. books , movies..
photos on an on. the android thing on it also.. ( I may have spelled that incorrectly.)
I can purchase a cell phone card for what I need.. on a Trac phone from Wal-Mart or another brand.
Thanks so much for your reply.:)
Is the tablet something you will use more than your cell phone?
If the answer is yes then go for and treat yourself to a nice gift!
There is such a variety in size and price the choice is yours.
So buy it, wrap it for Christmas, and on the card put
"To LPt from The sweetest lady in Arkansas!"

    Hi LPt
I have a TracFone that I bought at Target, and if you don't make very many calls or texts, it is very cheap. I've spent less than $200 for my phone service from November 2009 until now.

The tablets, on the other hand, I don't know very much about, so I can't really say if it would be good for you or not.

LPT. I read some reviews on the Samsung tablet (sorry haven't got a link) and they suggested that it was overpriced in comparison to others including the iPad.

Digging out from the snowdrifts that surround the house and cars.....wind is still blowing though, what a mess.
I do not envy you. We will get an arctic blast later on today.
We have a record winter here, most snow in 45 years. What's this climate change, global warming? Don't see it here...
Kari, I concur. Oour winter last year was one of the coldest on record and this year looks to be more of the same. Tonight we are supposed to drop to 25 F (-3.9C). This will be coldest weather since 1989 when we had snow on the ground in St Augustine. That year destryoued the citrus industry in Florida. Gobal warming is a myth perpetrated for financial and political gain.
