Thanks
LPt1 I loved that email you got about the dog, it was such a typical response to the note.
I've spent the day being taken over by a couple of stray cats. I have a large black castrated male and for a few weeks now have had regular visit from a female, although I think she's probably been seen to. I know that she looks well looked after and not really what you'd think of as a stray but she turns up and is very vocal usually wants something to eat but put outside. If you're not around and the door is open she will walk in and wander around looking for us, being very noisy about it as well
Yesterday there was suddenly a new cat turn up, this was not that old but obviously a snipped male cat, very thin and starving as he made short work of food put down. We think he's probably got worms as well as his belly is big and hard so as I had a worm tablet in the cupboard ready to treat my own cat next month, well I gave it to Scraggy, as my husband has named him
Not long ago I had all 3 in the house, was sitting here when her ladyship came walking into my office looking for me, went back down the passage to go to the kitchen and my cat was sitting on the storage box in the hall looking as we walked past. She has something to eat and who should very cautiously come in but the new cat, the female sort of hissed a bit and went out and is settled under the car.
The new one had a walk around then suddenly saw Sooty sitting on the box, hissed at him did a little caterwauling then a bit of a pathetic meow, Sooty just sat there looking at him
Little one went back in the kitchen and Sooty went out the other door and now there's just little one settled down in the hall for all the world as if he's always lived here
Oops sorry didn't mean to turn this into a novel, but thought I'll let you know about my day, as it's now time to switch off for the night and decide who's in and who's out for the night.
