No site on me at the moment, but i have seen some holographic computers using a pen, that has the speed of a computer from last year. Might sound slow, but it is the size of a PEN and has a holographic monitor and keyboard.

Googled this topic and came up with this gem;

"I predict that the computer will be absorbed into the body via modular cyborgery."

Uh, what? "Cyborgery"? Is that what he said..? Where do I sign up?!?

Moving on...

Provided we don't...:

- A; Blow ourselves up (MADD)
- B; Melt the poles and drown
- C; Aren't vaporized by Apophis
- D; Dodge all the rampant, genetically mutated viruses we're in for
- E; Collapse into chaos when Wal-Mart goes bankrupt

Implants will be prevelant in 100 years. Need to learn French for a hot date? Plug it in. Electrical Engineering for a new job? It'll cost you but the courseware is the best there is! I don't doubt it will be that easy and I'd be on that wagon as fast as possible.

Sadly, I won't live long enough to see it but I know it's coming. In the meantime, I'll just tinker with W7.

Never mind 100 years -- in a few years from now human bodies will have evolved so our ears will become built in Ipods and mobile phones and be able to project text to our brains so we won't need email or music players any more.

Internet can also be accessed directly using a "Bio Net" so we would also have instant access to Google etc.

That's probably covered over 70% of the entire applications most people run on computers anyway.

Cheers

I like the minority report idea, control your PC, Laptop & Telly with finger/hand gestures without even touching them.

The Nintendo Wii controler has already been tested under some of these scenarios

nice little read Here

Just imagine what 100 years will bring

Well didn't Microsoft just come out with a new way to play games? It uses a camera and detects your motions and then uses that to move the pointer/game. There is a video somewhere showing a guy using the system to play a boxing game.

Future Ram Upgrade
Currently, I have 2 x 2GB sticks of Patriot PGS34G1600LLKA RAM, which I know is sufficient for the things that I do, however I'm wondering if doubling that would make a significant difference while encoding video, either in speed or quality?

Future of MSN Explorer
This is my first post. We are using MSN browser and have had some issues so we called Qwest. They told us that MSN was having issues with IE8 and that Microsoft was probably not going to continue to support it any longer and we should look at using our Outlook 2007 for our email. We have...
