Honestly though, I think it's pretty arrogant of us to think that we are alone in the universe. With the universe being infinite (as far as we know), the odds against their being other life out there are astronomical.

Yeah...made me forget the proper use of there/their.

Seriously though. In any real sense there has got to be other sentient life out there. It just so unlikely that there isn't.
I really hope that this is confirmed before I shuffle off......
