    UFO Spotted! :O

I won't go as far as saying I saw Aliens from another planet but I did see something very odd.

So, I just got into bed about 1am and saw this light moving towards the house like it was going to pass over. I thought "plane! Where's the flashing wing lights?" So I looked at it... No flashing lights. Then I thought "must be a helicopter" So I opend the window and the was NO sound at all. Then all of a sudden this "light" stopped moving.

I watched it for about an hour as it sat there, intrigued as to what it was. I ended up getting the binoculars out to have a closer look. I noticed it was some what of a oval shape, bright yellow with a tint of orange towards the bottom right. It also had small rays of thin orange light coming out in big fans then retracting back into it's self, looked alot like jelly fish tentacles. It also had a very long thin ray of yellow light come out which looked like fork lightning.

I stopped using the binoculars and carried on watching this thing. It almost appeared it changed shape slightly from time to time. To me it looked like a Jelly Fish, then sometimes like a sausage. I also noticed it that wasn't perfectly still. It would shimmy left then return to is position or it would move up, down, then clockwise in an imperfect manor.

I wanted to be sure it wasn't just me going nuts thinking it was just the North Star, but it was to the west. Another thing I did was to make reference to how much the stars moved as time went on, and checked to see if this thing did to. This "light" didn't budge at all. It also appeared to developed a glowing halo around it too as the jelly fish rays stopped which seemed to be slightly reflecting off the cloud line which suggest it wasn't outside the atmosphere.

After a while I got pretty tired so I decided to go to sleep, Id been watching it for about 2 hours solid. Very strange though, I'm going to keep my eyes open tonight :)

Unfortunatly no, my video camera is real crap in low light levels. My camera is an SLR and would have needed a tripod to get a decent photo :\ I'll draw a little doodle though... lol
