    Icon problem on Win XP?

    Alright, to start, sorry for this being an image.
    I was really bored, and when I took the screenshots of my icons Photoshop opened them up, as it being the default image editing software, and I had loads of time, so I thought I could just try something.

    Oh, and sorry for this being Windows XP, I don't know of any other forum with active users, that includes Windows XP support.

    My problem is displayed below in the image, I have never experienced this, so I am sorry if this question is pretty stupid, I have searched all over my control panel but couldn't find anything.

    I see no one has responded to you.

    Try this;

    1. Click the Start Button

    2. Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties'.

    3. When the window pops up, select the 'Advanced' tab.

    4. Under there, click the 'Settings' button for 'Performance'.

    5. A list will pop up, make sure the option "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" IS checked.
