Hiyya jfar heard this somewhere else not sure but seems to ring a bell with Loreena McKennitt - who I simply adore.

Have got into the Gaelic material some time ago wasn't really ken before I found LM. Still you have to allow for the English eh?? lol!!

Yeh jfar she is but my goodness she carries that perfect voice for Gaelic and old English material. She is actually of Irish / Scottish parentage and oooooo a real honey of a lady. If you can have a squizz at her DVD "Nights form the Alhambra" - or any of her albums all greta stuff - if you like that sort of music.
