    Multiple System Specs

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before; under my profile, I can add my system specs, but how about being able to add multiple system specs, possibly assigning a name to each one?

For example, my main PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, but I also have a netbook running Windows 7 Ultimate x32. I also have a box running XP Pro, which I'm considering updating, and enough spare parts to build another system.

It'd be handy to be able to list each system's specs, in the event that I need help with something other than the main PC I have listed.

    What do you think?

So far I have seen people put their second system down in other info, or use some sort of divider between system specs (slash, asterisks, second system in parenthesis)

That may be Ok for a second system, but I'm talking about, potentially, four. All that info could get quite confusing (like seeing the OS listed 4 times under my username in threads).

How about separate tabs under the User CP, such as System 1, System 2, etc..?

That's a pretty good idea. Paging a moderator! I wonder if it's possible on forum software.

I managed to squeeze in all this for 3 of my most used systems

The example you've given seems to show how listing multiple system specs separately would make things clearer. From the posted screenshot, it's not obvious to me whether your listing 3 or 4 systems, and which bits of info apply to which system.

Could a mod or admin weigh in, and let us know if this is possible?

The System Specs section is intended for you to enter the specifications of the machine that you use on a day-to-day basis, to save having to post them every time. For machines that you only use once in a while, you can include their specs in the first post of the thread that describes the problem(s) you are having with it.

I think the real issue is that most people only have 1 system, or are asking for help from that one.

Those of us with more than 1 rig usually either post their main, or do what Doc did.

I don't see this as a big deal, though it might be kind of fun.
