What an awesome accomplishment! I am so thankful that every single miner is safe and above ground.

And what they live on for the 69 and 70 days would chill people too! Mine water can't be that clean and free of possible toxins from the elements in the mine itself. Some reportedly lost upto 25lbs during the ordeal and to be expected from things like dehydration and the lack of food!

Only a few will be released during the first week of the hospital stay having been in better health then others plus a few now having new arrivals as far as new borns. You can be sure some Hollywood producer is already planning to make a movie on all this sometime while the media and talk shows all over are reviewing the news clips over and over in each broadcast.

It certainly was a test of endurance when you consider what it would be like being under a mountain for over two full months! Lifting them out through a hole 2000ft deep and only as wide as a basketball hoop was an accomplishment by itself with worries of the capsule jamming up along the way.

The president there by the way is now looking to criminalize those who were responsible for unsafe mine conditions that lead to this in the first place. But at least this turned out far better then it could have been! On Day #71 we see Some Miners Leaving Hospital, Adjust to Freedom

Underground water is actually pretty clean, also, it tastes like water and very cold. Wait, you mean "mine" water. I don't understand what their source of water was but "underground" water is clean.

That's the thing we don't how well the water was but they survived! Apparently there wasn't real level of toxicidity while the elements in the water itself would need an analysis. And what were they mining to begin with would show one element would be present.

Some would wake up still thinking their were still in the mine and not in hospital suffering somewhat from post traumatic stress. With that many people trapped under a mountain for that long a period you could expect some to showing some signs of that.

The real concern now however is not health related but how they are being hounded by the media in general! One was asked for publishing a personal diary apart from all 33 agreeing to split any gain from publicity equally. That could prove to be a dividing factor where they are out of one dilemna and end up being in another!
