This is good news! 18 so far.
The 19th has just been rescued. They are hoping to complete the rescue operation within 24 hours of its commencement.
It's wonderful news for them and their family's, I saw some of it this lunchtime on the news, you can imagine the atmosphere there must be over there especially when they thought it would take another couple of months before they would be rescued.
As I write this, the 26th is on his way back to the surface. That leaves another 9 to come up (7 miners and 2 rescue workers who went down to assist in the operation).

I watched it live as they pulled the last 3 miners out and Chile's president made a speech to everyone present! The first live feed found is now only seeing a clip while the CBS New live feed there is still going at present.
I watched the followup reports for the few rescuers who also had to come up out of there as well. You can be sure be everyone is relieved to see every last one made out safely after that ordeal!
41yrs. since the moon landing another success story of people coming out of the ground after some 2 1/3 months time! You can't top a happy ending for sure!
