    Gimmicky, and I would suspect not road legal. Could cause serious accidents due to their distracting effects.

    It seems legal, though what is or is not is actually up to the state (or nation), there are plenty of other "distracting" things people put on their cars. As long as the brightness is not blinding.

    I suppose it could be the same as flashing led lights on bicycles , they are not legal but there again they are not illegal a bit of a grey area :)

    Depends on where you're at.

    In WV you can't even have neon license plates or you get a instant ticket and the car is not allowed to drive on until the neon is disabled. A friend of mine's daughter went through that. She had to call her Dad to ask him how to unhook it. They wouldn't let her drive the car until it was unhooked.

    I think instant ticket. I don't believe anyone but LEA are allowed to have strobing lights on their cars. A Guy
