    New set up for 7

I'm toying with the idea to buy a HP Touch Smart when i upgrade to W7. My friend has one and he is running Vista Home on it and to be honest i think its cool.

I'm not really that up to date with touch screen technology so i was hoping id get some solid advice from the members of this forum ,Any better suggestions as to what to buy instead maybe ?

The whole touch idea scares me.... What if the touch features stop working and HP says it's not an manufacturer problem? You are screwed. Just like cell phones that are touch (Blackberry Storm, iPhone, ect) I just worry too much I guess lol

I myself thinks it still needs some time. I know the whole touch screen stuff has been out there for awhile and its finally getting to the point the average user can afford it. But to me that means there is still some bugs and manufacturing errors that we don't know of and could cause some problems down the line. Id still hold off another year to two and see what happens from there.

Next time I'm around my friends place i will get him to tryout some decent games on his rig ( hes not a gamer )and report back. HP give you some nice toys to play with as well, docks and media applications etc. Think they are doing touch screen notebooks as well.
