John,

You'll probably find that there will only be one slot which means dumping installed ram to install new - not good but about normal for this class of device

I quite like it.

Windows runs pretty well, the touch screen take a little time to get used to but over all it's pretty responsive.

The only down side is it is a little heavy and maybe it could do with another gig on ram (it's open on my desk now but I cant find a slot for any extra ram).

The dual boot Android is very fast, but tbh thats what you would expect of a phone OS running on a PC.
Sounds like it's perfect for checking up on things while on the move.

How's the screen? Capacitive or Resistive?

Is the keyboard size big enough for someone like me who has hams for hands?

Well interestingly all the pre-release promotional stuff I read said it was disappointing it didn't have 3g, but it does have a sim card slot and all the instructions mention inserting a sim and activating the 3g I have tried the sim I have here but it doesn't work, so I've ordered free sims from all the major networks so I can give those a try.

Have you tried the SIM from the mobile dongle you used during the move - if anything is going to work then that should

It's a Capacitive, and as for the kb try switching it on on your pc then picture it on a 10.1" screen (All programs -> accessories ->ease of access -> on screen keyboard)

I will say that the windows handwriting recognition is brilliant, 99% of what I have tried writing is picked up first time.

BTW 1st post updated with full specs.

That's the only one I've got, but I have a feeling it maybe hardware locked to the dongle.

Nice.

I'd upgrade it to a 2gb stick of RAM if it was me.
