I think he's right. It shows only Android 2.2 on the Viewpad 7, and Android 1.6/Win7 on the 10.

So, it was bugging me that this thing had a sim slot and drivers on the disk, but no 3g network. After a little research I discovered that is was missing a mini pci-e modem.

I found the modem (Huawei EM770W) from a Chinese supplier on ebay for around £40 ($64 USD) and some aerials for £1.50(ish) from a UK supplier.

After booting into Windows the modem was detected fine and connected without any issue

The signal is a little poor but I am in a bad area and I have only used random wireless card aerials so I think with a bit of messing that can be improved upon.

Straight aerials will give you stronger signal. If you carefully arrange them inside the case to be straight, change direction, straight, etc. you should receive better signals.

    Nice work

How much GB is left on the SSD

    Hi,
When i go to the specs of the viewpad 10 i see it has a 16gb SSD.

    My question:
Is the windows 7 installed on the SSD, then how much GB is left on the SSD?
Because microsoft says you need minium 16 gb of free space?
