Looking for a cheap FULLHD 1080p TV for my apartment

    Hey

I'm in the market for an inexpensive 1080p HDTV, I don't want anything humongous something within the 27 to 32 inch range would be excellent.

Can anyone recommend any good models and or brands ? I guess the most important factor is price, I would like to hopefully buy one for under 400 If possible.

    thanks ladies and gentlemen !

You asked for under 400, I searched by price.

Don't expect great quality at a shitty price.

EDIT: For the record, both Samsung and JVC are fairly good brands.

In my honest oppinion if you're going to watch 1080p FullHD Blu-Ray movies (as that's all that produce FullHD, even SkyHD is 720p) then you'll have to look above $400 possible way above.

The issue with cheaper models is that there has been so much 'slimming' down to keep cost down that you really do not benefit from any HD experience.

Here is a HDTV buyers guide which you may find informative.

It cost me £3,999.95 (over $6,400) back in 2006 and is only 720p (1080i) capable.

I don't see anything wrong with JVC, Vizio and Samsung.

You might try making 1080p not a requirement. My primary TV is a 50 Panasonic Plasma 720p....and it looks fantastic. I'm a firm believer in the statement that the human eye cannot tell a difference between 1080p and 720p on a properly calibrated display displaying a 1080p sourced image.
