I use MS Word 97 to print envelopes and labels. OpenOffice just does not like my Brother laser printer for these tasks.

that's almost certainly true patio - but do you still use it?

it sure was a ground-braking app - inventing the tree-branch metaphor.

ztreewin seems to be the modern equivalent.

For the OP:
It is a DOS based Astronomy Program Skyglobe 3.6 from 1989.
I run it on my XP box.

New users should first consult with those who have been running Wife 1.0 for many years before installing a copy yourself. You should consider joining one of our established local users group to discuss your specific configuration.

Remember, the installation of Wife 1.0 can allow maximum system potential, particularly when used with supplementary applications. For example, killer apps Contentment 2.5 and Reliability 6.12a have been known to max out when run with TLC 2 and Communicator 5.0.

There are no plans for upgrades; Wife 1.0 was designed to work for a lifetime.

End of response
I was up to GF 6.0 then tried DW .90beta before I finally settled on DW 1.0 back in 1979.

P.S. for A Guy:
Had seen the Technical Support Incident several years ago. It is still a good read.
Thank you for the memories.

I wasn't so smart. I have DW 1.0, 2.0, 3.0. and 4.0. I guess I will never learn that upgrades and new versions still have the SAME ISSUES! Although the 3.0 and 4.0 did have smaller architecture and did contain fresh code. That combination did run fast and provide a lot of entertainment.

I have been running Wife 2.0 for the past 14yrs. Remnants of Wife 1.0 keep popping up but have not caused any real problems. Even a clean install did not fix the problem.

I've googled and googled but all I could find is outdated or vague info. I'm on a old P4 desktop with only 3 GBs ram available, the PC is sluggish as it is so Im looking for the minimalist AV possible. I already have MBAM for malware detection, now I just need a AV for real-time protection.
