I spent some time in the Mabuhay Gardens in the late 70's just around the time I graduated from HS. I saw The Ramones there along with The Damned , The Nuns , the Dead Kennedy's and other not so well known punk rock groups. It was a normal Filipino nightclub most of the time, but some nights it was punk central.

I guess I'm thankful I'm not dead....I gave the family a little scare a little over three years ago(a couple days hooked to a respirator and strapped down will do that) but I'm still here!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I'm thankful for my family, friends and good health.
I did our 16 lb bird in an oil-less fryer this year, turned out great. Here's a pic when it was just pulled from the fryer:

I am thankful for my excellent health and very thankful that Mae Lyne is recovering well from her surgery and that her cancer was caught in time and is completely gone. I am thankful that my dad's health is relatively good and that he is 90% recovered from his fall. I am thankful for my kids and their families and that all is well with them. I am thankful for the caring Seven Forums family.
Dennis, I definitely over ate!!!I am thankful for not over eating like Kari, Boo, Derek, Mike, noob, and Carl did......

Ahhhhh! Thanksgiving was a lovely, sweet family day with lots of great cooking and incredible eating. Definitely worth the wait! Now, Black Friday, and I'm gonna do some serious shopping. . . on-line. In the stores with all the mobs? Nope, I'm not that crazy!!!!!
