YES! They would look great! I actually wear that combination often, and get lots of compliments! (Uhhhhh, without the screws in the soles, of course!)

Lol not bad. I have a pair of Timberland Steel-toed boots Timberland - Men's Timberland PRO® Pit Boss 6-Inch Steel Toe (dark brown colored) and I just might try this at home....

I originally used #4 3/8" screws, but I would lose some, so I got 1/2" and so far so great! I got the idea from Tire places Studding tires .. why not Boots!

Good idea. Did you know that in the early days of high altitude mountaineering, prior to the invention of crampons, it was common to nail boots to give purchase on ice climbs?

That's a GREAT idea Joshatdot, just so long as you stay off any shiny wood floors!

I've got a pair of strap on rubber soles that have screws in them like that. They go on over my regular work boots with velcro straps. I keep them in the trunk of the car. The trail where I walk my dog gets hard packed snow from everybody walking on it. Eventually it turns to ice and can be quit trecherous. They've saved me from a bad fall many times.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, Nice mod,
