I use the number two Office Star leather chair but people really like the mesh back chairs.

If you have a PC World near you, they have a very comfy computer chair for 35. One of my flatmates at Uni bought it, and if I didn't already have a computer chair, I'd have definitely bought it myself.

Edit: Just had a look on pcworld.co.uk and they have decent chairs on there.

I used to toy with the idea of getting a 2nd hand dentists' chair. You could mount your monitor overhead and tilt the chair however which way you liked. Bonus water fountain to drink from too Problem is you're actually sorta lying down and it's probably not good for your back in the long run.

Lying down is comfortable, though.

I once upon a time had a pretty comfy chair from Cosco that was probably $180 or something I think I got for a present. Through my former rigorous wow playing, among some other games i eventually cracked the cushion arm rests from my elbows and made it so flat to sit on that I might as well have...

Chair Mat
One thing that I didn't bring to my new apartment when I moved was the chair mat that I had for my computer station. I had a inexpensive plastic mat that I never liked much. I'm thinking of just using an area rug instead, but at the price that I'm willing to pay, I doubt that I can find one that...
