Is Facebook a victim of their success?

Is Facebook a victim of their success?

I’m reading more and more that people’s account’s are been disabled and apparently without real reason. Lately I received mails from my friends that their friends where blocked for further use of their accounts on facebook, people I know for sure they never would break any rules or regulations opposed by facebook.
This morning I noticed they disabled my account to!! @ 8.40 Belgian time (UTC+01:00) Brussels, Copenhagen, Madrid, Paris my account was still working perfectly, but when I arrived at work at round 9.00 I noticed my account was disabled without any warning or message whatsoever.
I even applied this morning for a beta test for Mafia Wars this morning and they even notified me that I would receive a mail about that.

I do think my account was disabled by mistake. Or am I and others a victim of lately spread abuse by other people…I would like to refer to Hackers launch phishing attack on Facebook users - Neowin Forums

For months if been collecting, adding people to my friends list. I put a lot of energy and effort adding these people from all over the world, business as well as social contacts. One of the big problems I do have now is that all my work is lost, I can’t even look at my company pages anymore, we have 2 business pages on facebook I do have contact on a daily basses exchanging lots of good info, fun, and knowledge.
It would not seem to be fair if they would be deleted my account without any reason, political, sexual or for spamming or any other reasons.

So I repeat the question; is facebook victim of their success or are we the victims by losing our social network because they want? Imagine their slogan on their pages[b] “Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life.” but only if they (facebook) want!

    Sorry for the rant…

    Greetings

Yes they have fallen due to success. Just like any other online group. Just take a look at the past. All sites that get big quick have these problems, MySpace, Facebook, Ebay and even Yahoo(at one time). There are tons of factors for the fall sometimes its just someone in the company hitting the panic button and killing things that shouldn't be. I know here in the U.S. things get really out of hand on these sites when the media starts banging their drum about them and how things "can" happen and once word gets out how to do it every little I'm-a-hacker and leet-wanna-be jumps on the wagen making it hard for regular users like you and me.
I would send the admins an email stating you want a reason why you account was disabled and see what you get.

Why don't you report it to administrator?
There is a complain box which you can write your complain message.
    But usually they don't care.

This is usually happening, maybe (i think), your account was reported by someone who hates you by a specifict reason, in fact, you didn't do anything wrong or break the Facebook rules.
