Well done, Dean. It's been terrible to follow the news from there.

Mike .. I'm so very sorry at the great loss your family is going through now.. know I'm praying for you and your family to get through the next few days and weeks, as you try to adjust to the emptiness that Rodney's death brings.

Thanks LPt.

Thanks to everyone.

Rodney will be cremated.
We will have an color guard honor ceremony at the local American Legion Hall starting at 2PM Saturday.
Then an American version of an "Irish Wake" will be Saturday.
A celebtation of his life.

So remember to raise a glass of milk or coffee or your beverage of choice Saturday afternoon and join the toast to his life.

My last post on the subject except for further thanks if needed.

Cheers Rodney! To life!

.... And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're gone. ...

Today all the packing, moving and upsetting of my families relocation hit me like a Ton of bricks!!!! Spent the whole day flat out on my back fighting back my ulcer from everyone's else's baggage just wipped me out.
So from now on I'm thinking the worse is over (hopefully) and maybe I can atleast get my brain to start to fully function again.
I'm looking forward to start back with my schedual and popping in to help whenever I can.
Thanks to all of you who have been so supportive.
Best wishes to all the members.

Eric,
Don't let me gather the wolfpack and head to Texas and get you to settle down.
Just do a little bit at a time.
We will be here for you if you need to drop in to say "Howdy!"

FABE.. let's just take a very deep breath.. calm down.. let the work rest for a few days..
it will be right there when you can get back to it..
YOUR health is much more important right now..CALM is what your tummy needs right now.
Hope you'll feel much better after you get some much needed rest... try a little of this.

Fabe, try to take it easy.

In normal circumstances I would have been today and tomorrow in Hanover, in one of the biggest computer fairs in the world. CeBIT 2011 started on Tuesday, the same day Angie started her 4 week ban for driving due to exceeding the allowed point limit on her license (an eternal source of jokes for me ).

I have been in CeBIT every year since early 90's, so for me it was not an easy decision to stay home this year. But, I have to be realistic. I still have problems with walking, needing aid and only walking like a few hundred meters before I need rest. The fair ground is huge, and I simply know I would not manage to stay on my feet.

Life goes on.

Thanks for all your insights took the whole day and did nothing but L.P.T.'s Hammock snooze, feel better it's a new day and I pretty sure there are plenty more where that one came from.

Now it's just the (and ladies please don't take this personal) My elderly Mom and Sister and 2 teenage Niece's drama that's a dialy trist. I'm a little worried about being out numbered on.
I'll say this again 2 teenage Niece's 14 and 16 om my lord eehh!
Coming away from an abusive father and not trusting men a bit of a handful for me right now.

Other than that I'm totaly at home here things are wonderful and life is going to be great. It just needs a little time which I'm willing to give it but I'm already being full court pressed on when am I going to buy us our house after only being here 4 days? their responce...well we'll just go get an apartment!!!! la de da de da de da deep breath...... relax respond.
Thanks for being my support team.
