Shiver me timbers! Need an Irish Coffee to start my engine today!

77 F here today. I got a nice, enjoyable motorcycle ride in. I rode Mae Lyne's rig. She has not been able to ride it since her surgery and the bike had not been cranked in over six weeks.

Looks like i'll be stuck in camp all day due to too much rain.
The access road to the mine, 35k's, is flooded.
Nothing to do but read books, watch movies, etc.

Tornado Warnings for another half hour.
The storms are moving at 60mph+.
Looks like rain and thunder here.
We are in the split again. One went north by 5 the other appears going south by 5 miles or so.

Not good for St. Louis County.

If I disappear the power went out I didn't leave "Illinois with Toto".
Hello Hopalong.. AR.. didn't fare as well.. a small town was hit by a tornado at 6:30 am..in the northwestern part of the state.. (Cincinatti) more toward you.. then traveled on to do damage in your state.. as I was eating breakfast yesterday... learned when I returned home for lunch , 3 were killed by the storm.. very bad.. I'm in the very southern area of my state however.. all is well down here.. however we did get lightening and terrible black clouds about 4:30 pm..winds.. we were ready to get across the street to the Main bank and down in the basement.. 3 of us were in the small motor bank....
we count ourselves blessed today... we've suffered 3 huge tornadoes over the past years beginning with 1949 Jan 3.
    So glad you're safe !!!

We got hit in Rolla ,Mo south of St. Louis, then through St. Louis on the south side. 20 houses or so in St. Louis totaled.
Metro St. Louis 3 minor injuries from flying glass. They had one death at least south of St. Louis.

The closest tornado to me was about 10 miles north and 20mi. south of me- except the one that popped up on radar about 2 miles away but never touched down.

Same storms from Ark. they just moved NNW to visit us.

Mike, I am surely glad you are safe and suffered no damage. I am sorry for the people who got hit; but I am glad you were not among them.
