When I wear 2" inch heals I get motion sickness too!
Of course it could be that I am standing next to Topper who is cutting the cheese.

Dinesh, my dear friend from Mumbai with elephant ears Just do it! Love and marriage are eternal, believe me. I know what I'm talking, current (and the last) wife being number four.

Here are some things I've learned, to teach you how to keep your marriage happy and peaceful.

First and foremost, the secret of a loving, caring and peaceful marriage is total honesty with your feelings, hopes and dreams. You should always openly and honestly tell your wife what you want, why, what your dreams are, what you would like to do and so on. You should always talk openly with your wife, to help her to correct you and show you where you faults are. A loving wife understands you even if you don't say so many words. In fact, the longer the marriage, the less words you need to use, or are allowed to use. No need. A loving wife understands you after only a word or two and then shows where and how you are wrong. After this mutually respectful dialog (monolog after an average of 7 years of marriage) you both do as your wife tells you, which keeps peace in the relationship.

Before your wife has learned to understand you without you saying a word, she needs some help from your side to learn how to make right decisions regarding your life. I have put together a list of those things that you should keep repeating in every conversation in those early years of marriage when you still are capable and allowed to speak. Use every phrase at least twice a day, numbers 4 to 7 at least four times a day:
  1. I'm sorry
  2. It looks very nice on you
  3. No, it does not make you look fat
  4. Of course, my dear
  5. Of course not, my dear
  6. Yes, dear
  7. No, dear
  8. No, dear, I don't want to go with boys to the pub. I'd rather stay here with you and watch Love Story
  9. Yes dear, I'm happy with my allowance
  10. Should I wash the dishes or vacuum first?
  11. I am very sorry, dear. Of course you are right and I'm wrong
  12. No dear, it's OK. I didn't want to see that game anyway
  13. Please allow me... (to do that, to lift this etc.)
The list might look very short and simple but please believe me, there's everything you need to say to your wife. Love makes her capable to understand you with very few words, and helps her to show you your faults.

With Bobby McFerrin's words: Don't marry worry, Be happy!

Your friend,

Kari

Dinesh, don't let these guys scare you. You don't know what true happiness until you marry - then it's too late!

I hope Mae Lyne doesn't see this!!
