Today I am finally feeling myself again enough to post here again.
Around Christmas my long term health condition took a turn for the worst and I have been a little too ill to post much other than keeping in touch with the other mods and admins.
I am glad to say that it appears that the latest change to my meds (including a dose comprising 8 steroid tablets at once ), appears to be working and the COPD Exacerbation seems to be under control.
Sorry that I have not let people know where I've been and a public thank you to BooBah for reminding me, indirectly, of my oversight, but I should now be back to normal once I have caught up with missed sleep
PS. It's great to be home
no need nigel ,im just nosey and wondered where you got to. i prefer to think you were tied up for a few weeks by a dominatrix and were having too much fun to post ,
careful of those steroids ,you'll end up hung like topper ! where can i get me some .
Welcome back Nigel, and so glad to hear your health is better, or at least under control. We've missed your smiling face
A Guy
Great to see you around again. Get well soon Nigel.
Welcome back Nigel.

FYI
No kidney stone or UTI. Pleural effusion definitely- fluid between lung and pleural sack/ribs- and a mass unknown on ultrasound- might just be part of the fluid build up around the lung. Ultrasound isn't a definite on such things. The angle of the probe from below the rib cage looking back up towards your neck and the mass is up around my shoulder blade/scapula- which is where the pain is. You can't ultrasound through the ribs. So you have to go below and look up. Definitely fluid just hoping it isn't blood.
So they sent me over for a chest and abdomen Cat Scan.
No results yet. Within the hour if Doc got them back or in the morning.
