    Hi mike
I know what you mean about reduced lung function - it was touch and go for me a few times in the last week or so but I am if anything a stubborn bugger and am not going to let things beat me - i think you are of similar make up

As for changes in my appearance thanks Dennis but I thought you'd stopped posting self portraits

My new passport photo is I think Quite fetching

Well, if the above airheads would have completed the second sentence, you would have read it was sent by
LadyPinktomato1. I would assume/know she preferred men than women or horses.
She, after reading you comments, may consider all of you the other end of the horse.
Myself, I thought it was nice of her to share it with us.................
That's my story and I am sticking to it...

Yeah. Good to see you back Nigel. I'd registered that you hadn't been around but figured you were on holiday or something.
Never knew you had health problems. Hope everything works out for you. Best wishes, John:)

Today I am finally feeling myself again enough to post here again.

Around Christmas my long term health condition took a turn for the worst and I have been a little too ill to post much other than keeping in touch with the other mods and admins.

I am glad to say that it appears that the latest change to my meds (including a dose comprising 8 steroid tablets at once ), appears to be working and the COPD Exacerbation seems to be under control.

Sorry that I have not let people know where I've been and a public thank you to BooBah for reminding me, indirectly, of my oversight, but I should now be back to normal once I have caught up with missed sleep

PS. It's great to be home
Hope the new medication works for you Barman, you were missed take care and look after youself

    Update.

No mass found just some effusion and inflamation. Water and pleurisy. Lasix for now and see what they say tomorrow on anything else.

Cat Scan showed my right side of my heart is enlarged. They want to do a new ultrasound on my heart tomorrow.
The last one was in September. Left side of heart enlarged is old news.
It might be false scan but need to be sure and if it is enlarged why.
That is really bad news if it is enlarged.

6-8 inches of snow forecast this evening into tomorrow.

If I can get out of my driveway they keep the roads fairly clear around here.
I'll back in tonight and get a running start.
